Connected App Creation Is Restricted in Spring ’26

Starting Spring ’26, Salesforce will no longer allow the creation of new Connected Apps via UI or API.

• Existing Connected Apps will continue to function without impact
• New integrations must use External Client Apps (ECAs) or a temporary Salesforce Support process

This isn’t a breaking change — but it does change how future integrations should be planned.

If you work with OAuth, third-party integrations, or managed packages, now is the right time to review and prepare for ECAs.

Мне пришлось разбираться с этой штукой из-за надвигающейся отмены soap login. Что-то не увидел особенной разницы с connected app.
